BillMinder 1.1 in the Works

BillMinder 1.1 is nearing completion.  Included in version 1.1 is the much requested Alerts feature.  Until Apple enables background app support, we currently can only display the alert when BillMinder is opened.  However, when you close the app, the BillMinder badge will display the number of bills you have coming due soon/past due.  Please let us know what you think in the forums.

    I love this app!! Another request would be to have some type of email notification.

    This is not a promise, but we hope to put in notifications when the app is closed, when Apple sets the service up. The feature was pulled from iPhone 2.1.

    The only thing that is preventing me from getting this is the lack of alerts. When is the 1.1 release?

    Hey Phil, while we can’t promise an exact release date, I can say that we’re targeting code and testing completion for sometime next week. Add another week onto that for Apple’s review/release cycle so we’re talking some place between 1-2 weeks before it’s in your hands, give or take a couple of days. We’re doing our best to get this in your hands but we both have full-time jobs and families on top of our responsibilities at return7. Rest assured that we’ll have it to you as quickly as possible!

    Some bills are recurring at different intervals. For example, some are due every 3 months and some are due only once a year. Can this issue be addressed?

    Yes, this feature is currently under development and will be in BillMinder 1.1.
