We are aware that the built-in stations in CastCatcher v1.2 and earlier are currently no longer working. These stations were a random assortment of shoutcast.com streams to provided an example for users adding their own stations. These stations have since gone down. These default stations have been replaced in v1.3 with live ones.
Current users: please just delete the non-functioning stations and add your own. That is the whole purpose of CastCatcher anyway!
A lot of mine dont work due to the playlist error..
If it helps, I’ll post the new list later tonight. You’d have to manually enter them, unfortunately.
I’m honestly just being lazy…I need to add some more streams, I’ve been trying to work all day tho lol
but really my howard stern streams are all not working, i’m guessing the play list error.
That just means the streaming server has gone down or changed its url, or you have no internet connection so CastCatcher can’t reach. If you got it off shoutcast.com, try searching again and entering the new url. Otherwise check out the site that you got the stream from to make sure it’s still up. Also, make sure your phone has an internet connection of some sort.
